Info Sought In 1993 Disappearance Of Mother, Son: Hillsborough Sheriff

LITHIA, FL — Investigators are seeking new information in the 1993 disappearance of a mother and her infant, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Bonnie Dages, 18, and her 4-month-old son Jeremy were last seen leaving their home in Lithia, near Boyette Road and Dorman Road, on April 28, 1993. They were heading to a Kash n’ Karry grocery store 9 miles away.

They never returned and were reported missing the next day.

Days later, on April 30, Dages’ vehicle, a 1986 silver Dodge Caravan, was found abandoned in the grocery store’s parking lot at the corner of Lithia Pinecrest Road and East Lumsden Road in Brandon, the sheriff’s office said.

"We have not forgotten about Bonnie or Jeremy Dages," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Our investigators continue to look for new leads and remain dedicated to finding answers. If you have any information about this case, please come forward."
