- "Soiree by the Bay" is a new social event in Tampa Bay being held for the Arthritis Foundation. It will occur at 6 p.m. on April 15 at the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club. Guests will enjoy food stations from local eateries, beer, wine and signature cocktails, entertainment, dancing, and more. (Tampa Patch)
- Two people in Tampa were injured on Sunday morning after driving into the front porch of a Tampa home located at Peninsular and Poplar. The driver and his teenage passenger both suffered no serious injuries, according to officials. No further information is available at this time. (WTSP)
- Sea Grapes Eatery and Wine Lounge is opening soon in Pinellas County on Thursday, March 9 with a full menu including drinks. The restaurant is being led by Chef Alex Rodriguez of Lolita’s Wine Market and Sammy + Paco's. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
- Long-running radio announcer for the Tampa Bay Rays, Dave Wills, has died at age 58. Wills worked with the Tampa bay Rays for 18 years before his death and was known as a big fan of baseball. The Rays are planning a tribute for Wills this season as a thank you to his contribution to the sport. (WFLA)
- State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a panel of inspirational women in local leadership positions for a panel discussion to join with International Women’s Day from 4:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, at the 26th West Center, 5840 26th Street West, Bradenton.
