Johnson & Johnson Vaccine Available At Pop-Up Vaccination Clinics
Residents will have a chance to get the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines at pop-up vaccinations sites Tuesday and Wednesday.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Residents will have a chance to get the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines at pop-up vaccinations sites Tuesday and Wednesday.
A vaccination site will be held Tuesday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at New Tampa Community Center, 17302 Commerce Park Blvd.
Another will take place Wednesday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lykes Gaslight Square Park, 400 N. Franklin St., Tampa, and at Loretta Ingraham Park 1611 N. Hubert Ave., Tampa.

No registration or appointment is required. Residents should bring a photo ID.
Additionally, there are still appointments available for first doses of the coronavirus Pfizer vaccines this week at Hillsborough County public vaccination sites.

This includes the newest location: Plant City Stadium, 1810 S. Park Road in Plant City. The Plant City Stadium location is a drive-thru site. Residents remain in their vehicles throughout the entire process, which is quick, easy and has little to no wait time to receive the shot. The stadium site will be operating Tuesday and Wednesday.
First doses will be dispensed later this week at the Ed Radice Sports Complex, 14720 Ed Radice Drive in Tampa, and Vance Vogel Sports Complex, 13012 Bullfrog Creek Road in Gibsonton. These also are drive-thru locations.
Second doses will be given at the TPepin's Hospitality Centre indoor clinic at 4121 N. 50th St., Tampa. Enter the center from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard entrance and follow the directional signs to the parking area.
Appointments to be vaccinated at a county sites are mandatory and Florida residency is required. To make an appointment, go to the CDR Health Pro portal. It takes only a few minutes to create an account and select an appointment.
Vaccine eligibility statewide has expanded to all adult Floridians. Sites run by Hillsborough County dispense only the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which can be given to teens as young as 16 years old.
The Federal Emergency Management vaccination site at the Tampa Greyhound Track, 755 E. Waters Ave., Tampa, is dispensing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine only for new vaccinations.
Second dose Pfizer appointments for those who got their first dose at the FEMA site will still be provided at the resident's appointment time.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is not approved for 16- and 17-year-olds, so parents and legal guardians who wish to get a vaccine for that age group can make an appointment at the county-operated sites or visit a state-supported site without an appointment.
The state-supported sites are located at Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N. Himes Ave., Tampa, and the Hillsborough County Children's Board, 1002 E. Palm Ave., Tampa.
The Raymond James Stadium site is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Walk-ups are accepted. No appointments are required.
The Children's Board site is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, except the fourth Thursday of the month. Walk-ups are accepted. Appointments aren't required.
There is no cost to be vaccinated. Health insurance information is being collected as required by the federal government, but residents will not be asked to pay a copay or deductible and residents who do not have health insurance will still be vaccinated.
Hillsborough County residents can also get vaccination at some Walgreens, CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walmart and Sam's Club locations. Visit the pharmacy's website to make appointments at these stores.
