Kitten Rescued From Wall in Twiggs Street Parking Garage

The garage is at 901 E. Twiggs Street in downtown Tampa.

A kitten was rescued from the Twiggs Street garage earlier today by officials from Tampa Fire Rescue.

Around 11:15 a.m., a City of Tampa Parking security officer was patrolling the garage at 901 E. Twiggs Street when a customer told him there was a problem on the second floor, according to a city news release.

The customer said they heard a cat crying in the area, but couldn't see the animal. Parking staff soon found the kitten stuck between the wall of the garage, crying for help, the release said.
