Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey Set Tampa Tour Stop
Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey will tour together for the first time ever next year. They have a stop in Tampa on the schedule.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area Lionel Richie fans have a date they’ll want to put down on their calendars. The Grammy-winning crooner plans a stop at Amalie Arena in May. Sweetening the deal for music lovers, Mariah Carey is lined up to be Richie’s special guest.
Richie’s All the Hits Tour kicks off on March 15 in Baltimore, Maryland. With 35 stops on the tour, Tampa fans will have to wait until May 26 to hear the singer live. Tickets for the show, however, go on sale Saturday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m.
Citi is serving as the official credit card sponsor of the tour. That means Citi cardmembers will get the opportunity to jump on pre-sale offerings. Those ticket sales are set to begin at 10 a.m. Dec. 15. For more details, visit Citi online.

Fans who wait to buy until general sales begin on Dec. 17 will find tickets available at the Amalie Arena’s McDonald’s Ticket Office, Ticketmaster outlets and via Ticketmaster.com. Phone orders will also be accepted at 800-745-3000. Tickets start at $36.20 and go up to $496.25. Ticket prices do not include facility fees or service charges.
According to Amalie Arena officials, the upcoming tour is a first for the two performers together.
