Tampa Life Science Company Announces Expansion, Relocation

TAMPA, FL — Verséa Health Inc., a Tampa-based diversified life science company, announced its expansion to a larger facility with plans to add 40 new jobs over the next two to three years.

Verséa has leased more than 14,000 square feet in downtown Tampa at 401 S. Florida Ave. The new facility provides enough space for the company to consolidate its corporate office and operations, including warehouse and fulfillment functions, into one location while still providing room for growth.

The 40 new jobs will include roles in laboratory research and analytics, financial planning and analysis, sales and marketing, digital marketing and e-commerce, customer service and warehouse operations.

“We have grown tremendously over the last couple of years, and we have plans to continue the strategic expansion of our business in Tampa while contributing to the growth of the life science and health care industry locally,” said Sean Fetcho, co-founder and CEO of Verséa Health. “Our new space not only provides us room to grow, but we’re also excited about its location. Our team members will enjoy convenient access to the vibrant Channel District and Water Street areas.”

Verséa joins a growing list of life science and health care companies that have announced expansions in Tampa and Hillsborough County, including BeniComp, NuMedTechs, Pfizer and Axogen. The Tampa Bay Economic Development Councilassisted Verséa with its real estate search and connecting the company with workforce programs.

Verséa was founded in 2018 and currently has 55 employees. The company has four strategic business units: diagnostics, therapeutics, ophthalmics and discovery.
