Making Threats On Instagram Lands Valrico Man In Federal Prison
According to court documents, Dominique Dragan told one victim, "I can't wait to hear the bones in your neck break."
TAMPA, FL — A 29-year-old Tampa man has been sentenced to three years and one month in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for cyberstalking two people.
U.S. District Judge Susan C. Bucklew sentenced Dominique Dragan on Nov. 4.

According to court documents, from January 2020 through July 2021, Dragan used Instagram to cyberstalk, harass, threaten and intimidate multiple victims with a series of continuous messages.
The FBI said he made specific threats to kill the victims including, “I can’t wait to hear the bones in your neck break,” “I’m gonna put a bullet in your forehead” and “I can’t wait to murder you.”

Dragan also used racial slurs in the messages and warned the victims not to report his threats to law enforcement.
Bucklew determined that Dragan’s conduct placed the victims in reasonable fear of serious injury and death.
