Man, 55, Shot, Killed, In Tampa
Tampa Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a man dead and another seriously injured.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a man dead and another seriously injured.
According to the agency, police responded to a call about shots fired just before 2 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 1700 block of east 18th Avenue. When they arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. DuVaughn A. Shaheed, 55, died from his injuries. Police have not released the name of the man who was injured.

Authorities say Shaheed’s 2003 Ford Taurus was missing after the shooting. It is believed the vehicle may have been taken by the attackers. The vehicle was recovered on Monday not far from the scene of the shooting.
“The shooting does not appear to be random,” an email from the police department said.
