Argument That Escalated To Gunfire Leaves Man Dead, Woman Injured At FL Home

TAMPA, FL — Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured in Tampa early Thursday morning, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of Jeanal Place just before 12:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a woman outside the home with an injury to her lower body, the sheriff’s office said.

Inside the home, they found a man dead with upper body trauma.

Detectives learned that the two got into an argument that escalated to gunfire.

The man’s identity will be released once his next of kin has been notified.
