FL Man Accused Of Having At Least 1,000 Child Porn Images
A Tampa man was arrested Wednesday for child pornography possession, police said.
TAMPA, FL — A man was arrested Wednesday after being found with at least 1,000 child pornography images, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release.
Jose Guerrero, Jr., 25, was charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography (10 or more images and content of images.)
Investigators received an online tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Feb. 20.

The report showed a consistent pattern of activity around possession and distribution of suspected child pornography between November and January, police said.

Detectives assigned to the Tampa Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, working with officers with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Cyber Crimes Unit, immediately began investigating and identified Guerrero as the suspect.

He was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at his home on N. 50th Street on Wednesday.
Guerrero was booked into the Orient Road Jail.

"Let this arrest serve as a powerful warning to those who choose to possess and distribute child pornography — you will be relentlessly pursued and held accountable for your heinous actions. We are committed to protecting our most vulnerable and these vigilant detectives have proven they remain tireless in their commitment to this effort."
