Man Found Fatally Shot In Car In Parking Lot Of Tampa Apartments

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in the 6700 block of Woodville Street Saturday evening.

At 5:44 pm, officers received a report of a shooting in the River Oaks apartment complex, 4101 Oak Knoll Court in northeast Tampa.

They arrived to find the victim, who was in his early 30s, dead inside a silver Nissan in the parking lot.

Although early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random incident, police said.
