TAMPA, FL — A man was found fatally shot Monday afternoon on a Tampa road, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Deputies responded to reports of gunshots fired in the 19000 block of Bruce B. Downs Blvd. at Regents Park Drive just before 3 p.m.

“For our community to have to drive by a deceased male in the roadway is absolutely horrific,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “I implore the community to come forward if they have any information whatsoever. No tip is too small.”
