Man Accused Of Pointing Gun At Boss’ Head, Firing Shot At Him At FL Construction Site
A man faces multiple charges, including 2nd-degree murder, after shooting at his boss during a wage dispute, the Hillsborough sheriff said.
TAMPA, FL — A man was arrested during a multi-agency effort after pointing a gun at his former employer’s head during a confrontation over unpaid wages, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Rajache Greenlee, 34, confronted his former boss at a construction site on Versailles Drive in Tampa over an ongoing monetary dispute on Saturday.
During the encounter, Greenlee took out a gun, pressed it to the victim’s forehead, threatened to kill him and fired a round that narrowly missed, the sheriff’s office said.

He was charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony with a weapon, armed burglary of a dwelling and robbery with a firearm.
“This was a reckless and violent outburst that could have ended in tragedy,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “Pointing a firearm at someone's head and pulling the trigger over a financial dispute shows an alarming disregard for human life. There is no place for this kind of behavior in our community.”
