Man Steals Woman's Purse From Shopping Cart At Publix; Warrant Issued: Deputies
A warrant has been issued for Carnel Hall, 17, on a charge of grand theft 3rd degree, according to deputies.
TAMPA, FL- Deputies are searching for a man accused of reaching into a shopping cart at a Publix store and stealing a woman’s purse. A warrant has been issued for Carnel Hall, 17, on a charge of grand theft third degree, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
The purse theft occurred about 12:25 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Publix, 5371 Ehrlich Road. The woman obtained the license tag of the suspect’s vehicle and the driver was identified as Hall, deputies said.
Hall is described as a black male, medium build, short dreadlocks who was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black gym shorts and black sneakers.

On the same day as the theft, an unidentified passenger in the suspect’s vehicle used the victim's credit card at the Wawa, 8325 N. Florida Ave.
