Minivan Driver Dies After Hitting Tree Along I-75: FL Highway Patrol
A Bradenton man died after losing control of his minivan and hitting a tree along I-75 in Hillsborough County, FL Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — The driver of a minivan died Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Hillsborough County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The 84-year-old Bradenton man was heading south on the highway when he lost control of his van for an unknown reason south of Big Bend Road just before 2:30 p.m.
The van entered the median and hit a tree, FHP said.
