Motorcyclist Dies In U.S. 41 Crash With Semi-Truck, FL Troopers Say
A speeding motorcyclist died after driving into a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 41, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A speeding motorcyclist died Sunday evening after driving into a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 41, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The 21-year-old Riverview man was heading north on the highway around 6 p.m., at the same time the truck was headed south on U.S. 41.
At the intersection of 16th Avenue South, the truck, driven by a 55-year-old Wesley Chapel man, turned left into the path of the motorcycle, which hit it, FHP said.
