NASA Shares New Photos Of Tampa Bay Taken From Space Station
NASA shared recent pictures of the Tampa Bay area taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station on May 27.

TAMPA BAY, FL — NASA shared recent pictures of the Tampa Bay area taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station.
The images, posted to the Gateway to Astronaut Photography of the Earth database, were snapped May 27, 6:30 p.m., according to ABC Action News.
The photos of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and surrounding suburbs were taken using a Nikon Z 9 camera as the ISS orbited 261 miles above the Gulf of Mexico, WTSP said.

Local landmarks, such as the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Pinellas County beaches, Tampa International Airport and MacDill Air Force Base, can clearly be spotted in the image.
