National Steakhouse Chain Opening New Restaurant In Tampa Area

A national steakhouse chain is opening a new location in the Tampa area and will donate $5,000 from its grand opening to Feeding Tampa Bay.

LUTZ, FL — Outback Steakhouse is opening a new store in the Tampa area.

The national chain will open the doors to its new location at 18600 State Road 54 in Lutz on Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. according to a news release from the company.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce is set for Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.

The restaurant is partnering up with Feeding Tampa Bay for its grand opening and will donate $5,000 from the weekend’s proceeds to the organization.

“Opening day is something our entire team has been looking forward to,” said Tim Shulk, Proprietor of the new location. “We can’t wait to serve the Lutz community and offer a place where families and friends can come together and enjoy the Outback favorites they love.”

The new location, which is nearly 4,700 square feet with a spacious dining room and a large bar area inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, can seat 187 diners.

The restaurant is also bringing more than 100 jobs to the area.
