Neptune Street In South Tampa To Close From Friday To Monday

The closure is part of a $4.9 million flood relief project.

TAMPA, FL — From 9 p.m. Friday, April 14, to 6 a.m. Monday, April 17, Neptune Street will close to the west of Dale Mabry Highway (U.S. 92) in South Tampa for crews to perform drainage pipe installation work as part of the Dale Mabry Highway drainage improvements between Neptune Street and Henderson Boulevard.

The $4.9 million flood relief project is being built in collaboration with the city's Upper Peninsula Watershed Drainage Improvements.

Drivers will have to detour around the work zone using Dale Mabry Highway, Watrous Avenue and Church Avenue to access Neptune Street. Electronic message boards and detour signs will assist drivers traveling through the area. Access to businesses, residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
