Our Town America of Tampa to Honor Local Small Business Owners
Voting is Open for the Third Annual Small Business Resilience Award

The last few years have been brutal for small business owners. It started with pandemic shutdowns in 2020. In 2021, smalls business owners battled labor and supply shortages, and this year it’s been all about inflation.
These challenges can often bring out the best in people, and that’s why Our Town America, a national new mover marketing franchise with a location right here in Tampa, is once again soliciting votes and nominations for its annual Small Business Resilience Award. They are looking for small business owners who continue to overcome the odds.

“The Small Business Resilience Award is important because it perfectly encapsulates the essence of what it takes to be a part of any small business,” said Michael Avallone, owner of Our Town America of Tampa. “Behind everything created, by God or man, there is a unique story of transforming adversities endured into opportunities for success. I can’t think of an honor more humbling, for a person or small business, than to be labeled RESILIENT.”
