Palm Avenue House Fire Under Investigation
Breaking: Tampa Fire Rescue is on the scene of a fire that broke out in a home on West Palm Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Fire Rescue personnel are on the scene of a structure fire that broke out on the southwest corner of West Palm Avenue and Tampa Street Wednesday afternoon.
Details about the Dec. 7 blaze are not yet available. The agency reported on Twitter that the home appears to be vacant.
Investigators are on the way to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.

As of 1:34 p.m. Dec. 7, Tampa Police reported that Tampa Street is closed to traffic from Palm Avenue to Ross Avenue. Motorists are asked to take alternate routes.
