Parrot Thief Sought By Tampa Police: Stolen From Seminole Heights

The owner hopes the community can help to reunite Mama the parrot with her family.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police detectives are working to identify the woman shown in a video who stole two parrots from the porch of a home in Seminole Heights.

On March 18, two blue-fronted Amazon parrots, Tito, 15 years old, and Mama, 20
years old, were stolen from the porch of a house near Epps Park.

On March 21, a woman was caught on video selling to a pet store. The owner
of the store recognized Tito as a stolen and contacted the owner.

While Tito has been reunited with his family, Mama, who has a steel band on
her left foot, is still missing.
