Here are the top five stories today in Tampa:
1. The Tampa Bay Lightning fell in a brutal 7-0 loss during Game 2 to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night in the fight for the Stanley Cup. The game was Vasilevskiy's worst game of his entire career of more than 400 games. Game 3 is tonight at 7 p.m. EST. (ABC Action News)
2. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay recently saved a kitten found abandoned in a double-knotted grocery bag on the side of a busy highway. The kitten has since been named "Miracle." In addition to a severe upper respiratory infection, the kitten suffered from a parasitic disease called coccidia along with roundworms and ringworms, but survived and has since been adopted thanks to the Humane Society. The non-profit needs the public's support to continue this work. (Tampa Patch)
3. A Pasco County man was arrested Tuesday for riding his dirt bike on an airport tarmac in Zephyrhills, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said 18-year-old Tony Coban acknowledged he was not supposed to be in the airstrip but said, "he wanted to take in the sun and fresh air." (WFLA)
4. Lakeland Police Department launched an investigation into a death at Shoppes of Lakeland shopping center Sunday afternoon in North Lakeland. Officer said as of Sunday that the death appeared to be a suicide. (WTSP)
5. Two Florida men were charged with a federal hate crime for allegedly beating a Black man in a store parking lot in Citrus County while yelling racial slurs. The U.S. Justice Department said Friday that 55-year-old Roy Lashley and 52-year-old Robert Lashley were indicted by a grand jury. (WFLA)

- A St. Petersburg man was arrested Saturday morning after he drove at 120 mph on I-275 in a 65 mph zone, an affidavit said. Troopers say the man nearly hit other drivers as he zoomed. (WFLA)
