TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is investigating a Monday morning crash that left a woman dead. According to the agency, the crash at the intersection of Hillsborough and Nebraska avenues happened sometime before 6 a.m. Dec. 5. An adult woman was attempting to cross Hillsborough Avenue and was struck by a vehicle. The crash closed the intersection prior to rush-hour Monday.
