Tampa Man Killed During Altercation At Club: Police
Tampa police are investigating a homicide that occurred at the Island Grill restaurant/club.

TAMPA, FL - A 27-year-old Tampa man was shot and killed during an altercation early Monday morning at the Island Grill restaurant/club, 3404 E. Lake Ave., police said. Detectives have been able to talk with witnesses and those involved in the shooting, but no arrests have been made.
The victim was identified as Kemar Odeane Officer, police said. Tampa police received calls about 1:49 a.m. regarding shots fired at the Island Grill. Police arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound. The man later died from his injuries.
Detectives have determined that several shots were fired and are also investigating a report from a man who said he suffered a stab wound at the restaurant, police said. The stabbing appears to be related to the shooting. The victim in the stabbing received non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random. Detectives are working to determine the cause of the altercation, police said.
