Police Investigate Multiple Auto Burglaries In Swann Estates

The unidentified man broke into multiple unlocked cars in the Swann Estates neighborhood on Jan. 1

TAMPA, FL - Tampa Police officers are asking for the public's help in identifying an auto burglary suspect. The unidentified man broke into multiple unlocked cars in the Swann Estates neighborhood on Jan. 1.

The auto burglaries took place in the early morning hours around 3:45 a.m. The suspect is described as a male approximately 5-foot, 7-inches with a thin build and light complexion. He was last seen wearing a two-toned jacket, light shorts, bandana over face and light colored baseball hat.

Police are asking residents to remember to lock their car doors and avoid leaving key fobs inside of their vehicle. Anyone with information about these break-ins is asked contact Crime Stoppers at 800-873-TIPS.
