Portion Of Tampa's Legendary Alessi Bakery Ravaged By Fire
Using hoses, it took 30 firefighters about 25 minutes to put out the single-alarm fire, preventing it from spreading to the main building.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa firefighters were able to save Tampa's legendary bakery, Alessi Bakery, after it caught fire Monday night.
Around 8:50 p.m., Tampa Fire Rescue was dispatched to the bakery, known for its authentic Cuban bread, 2909 W Cypress St.
Upon arrival, firefighters found fire coming from the back of the single-story unit at the back of the building where the outside refrigerator and freezer are located.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
