Sesame Street Halloween Offers Kids Non-Spooky Fun at Busch Gardens
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced two upcoming theme events just for kids in time for Halloween.

TAMPA, FL — Families looking for Halloween fun that doesn’t include scary haunted houses filled with things that go bump in the night might want to put two upcoming weekends on their calendars. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced upcoming theme events designed to be just right for the little ones.
The first Sesame Street Kids Weekend is set to take place Oct. 22-23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. “The Count Weekend” will include a hay bale maze, animal counters, character parades, trick-or-treat stations and more. Rumor has it Count von Count plans to help kids count their way through the “batty” maze while other characters, such as Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Abby Cadabby will also make appearances.
The second weekend event will follow a “Monsters & Fairies” theme. It's set for Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. This event will feature “Halloween-themed arts and crafts to transform the kids into a magical fairy like Abby Cadabby or a loveable monster like Elmo," Busch Gardens wrote in an email to media.

Character parades are planned to take place at the top of each hour throughout both weekends of fun. Kids are encouraged to wear the costumes and get in on the act, too.
Sesame Street Halloween takes place in the Safari of Fun area at Busch Gardens. This part of the park is dedicated to all things Sesame Street and boasts a number of attractions designed for pre-schoolers and young children. Entry is included with regular admission to the park.
