Singer Chris Brown Accused Of ‘Sucker' Punching Photographer
Tampa Police are investigating an alleged Monday morning battery involving singer Chris Brown at Aja Channelside.

TAMPA, FL — Singer Chris Brown is under investigation following an alleged battery at Tampa’s Aja Channelside early Monday morning. The crooner is accused of “sucker” punching a photographer, leaving his lip cut.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the incident involving Brown, 27, and photographer Bennie L. Vines Jr., 28, occurred at the 290 Meridian Ave. S. club around 1 a.m. April 17. Brown was attending an “after party event,” a memo from the police department said. Vines, a club photographer, was snapping shots when Brown allegedly threw the punch.
By the time police arrived at the club, Brown had already left, the agency’s memo said.
