Soprano Elona Krasavtseva Pays Tribute to Sarah Brightman

Soprano Elona Krasavtseva is in a one-night-only concert on March 6

On March 6, the New Tampa Performing Arts Center will host a tribute concert dedicated to Sarah Brightman, performed by soprano Elona Krasavtseva. Krasavtseva is known for her captivating performances and diverse musical background. She has been enamored with classical crossover music, a genre combining folk, pop, musical theater, and classical music.

Her upcoming concert is a tribute to Sarah Brightman, the best-selling classical female artist of all time. "She created amazing shows and works with astonishing musicians," Krasavtseva notes. The repertoire includes selections by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed many pieces specifically for Brightman, such as Phantom of the Opera and Pie Jesu, as well as other classical and pop songs.

Krasavtseva emphasizes that the concert is about celebrating the music rather than imitating Brightman. "We do the songs our own way... creating a show with singing, dancing, choir, and visual effects to convey Sarah's concert atmosphere."

The concert will also feature past New York Opera baritone Alex Boyed and the Lumina Youth Choir. Exceptional musicians like Alex Nakhimovsky, Viktoria Sidorenko, Val Kornienko, and Alex Ocon will contribute to the concert's brilliance. Krasavtseva hopes the show will serve as an "energy booster and inspiration for the people who come to see us."
