1. Two people are dead and two others are hospitalized following a rollover crash on the Courtney Campbell Causeway early Wednesday morning. Tampa and Clearwater police were called to the causeway at 3:42 a.m. after a crash in which a vehicle flipped over and four people were ejected. (Tampa Patch)

2. Florida Democrats have announced a new date and a new location in Tampa for its big annual fundraiser after its original plans at Walt Disney World in Orlando erupted in controversy. The event will now take place at JW Marriott in Tampa on Water Street from July 15 to July 17. The President of the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus said he would be pleased to attend the gala at its new venue. (Florida Politics)

3. Nine Spices' new Clearwater location at 2543 Countryside Boulevard celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday, April 6, according to social media posts from the business. The menu includes a wide variety of raw meats, vegetables, seafoods, dumplings and noodles you can cook either in your hot pot broth or on the shared tabletop grill. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

4. The Tampa Bay Lightning will present Bolts Hockey Fest on Saturday, April 16 in neighboring St. Petersburg at the waterfront Albert Whitted Park. The tournament will feature ball and roller hockey games played on 50 percent to scale NHL-sized rinks with boards, netting and referees. After the tournaments, stick around for a watch party to check out the Lightning taking on the Jets at 7 p.m. with special appearance by ThunderBug, Lightning prizes, food trucks and more. 5. A former U.S. Special Operations commander from the Tampa area, Andrew Milburn, has now set up a military training center in Ukraine, and along with fellow American and British veterans, is passing on skills to soldiers and delivering critical supplies. Milburn joined the U.S. Marine Corps from London as a private and retired 31 years later in 2019 as a colonel. His last position was Deputy Commander of Special Operations Central (SOCCENT), which is headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa. (WUSF)
