DOVER, FL — A team from Strawberry Crest High School has been named this year’s #SamsungSolve National Winner, an award that came with a $100,000 prize package, including Samsung products and resources to enhance Strawberry Crest's STEM classroom.
The team developed a heart monitoring device to alert a coach if an athlete is suffering in the heat. They hope to make their device smaller and do additional testing to keep the momentum of their project going.
Strawberry Crest was among three national winner schools to receive a $100K prize package.
