Student Artists Showcase at Kokol Arts Studio & Gallery on May 18
The free reception and art showcase will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at
Local artist and teacher Beth Kokol is hosting her first Student Artists Showcase titled "Art on the Bay" from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in South Tampa on Saturday, May 18.
The collection of work will include more than 40 original pieces from her adult art students, from mixed media to acrylic. The pieces will be available to view at 3318 Bay to Bay Boulevard.
“I want my students to know the excitement and thrill of showing their work in a public setting and interacting with the viewer," said Kokol.

South Tampa resident and CFO Pete Nelson, painting Florida landscapes has become a pastime.
"In particular I really like the water and fishing scenes of Boca Grande," he said. "I’ll be showing a painting of the Boca Grande lighthouse, a palm tree as well as a few others.

Some students will highlight pieces from a recent Kokol Arts Specialty Workshop taught by artist Holly Roberts.
