1. CITY Furniture operates showrooms across Florida and is currently building out a 1 million square-foot distribution center and showroom in Plant City. The new complex is a $125-million-plus project that will include a showroom with a café that will serve craft beer, wine, and flavored coffees, according to a release. (That's So Tampa)

2. The Tampa Park Apartments is at the center of a lawsuit involving the property's sale to Ybor City real estate investor Darryl Shaw for $28.5 million. The International Longshoremen’s Association Local 1402 union filed a lawsuit against Lily White in Hillsborough County Circuit Court, alleging Lily White brokered the deal with Shaw without the union’s input. 3. City of Tampa will start a new tradition with the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Festival today. Running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Water Works Park. The festival will feature cultural performances, information-resource tables, food trucks and more. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

4. Silverstein Properties has announced an acquisition of a 34,000-square-foot site in Tampa. Located at 505 East Tyler Street in Downtown Tampa, the three-quarter-acre site is intended to be developed into a residential tower that will include 430 residential rental apartments, approximately 15,000 square feet of retail and a 600-space parking garage. 5. A mold infested rental in Largo forced a mother and her two children looking for a new life to abandon their furniture, toys and home. Florida lacks mold protections for rental properties. The victims says she has hired a lawyer, but has not filed suit. (ABC Action News)
