1. The Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade led to a flood of statements from elected officials. Prosecutors from across the country, including Andrew Warren, the state attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa, released a joint statement stating they were declining to criminalize reproductive health decisions and will not prosecute those who seek, provide or support abortions. 2. Tampa police are investigating a homicide that took place early Friday morning at a 7/Eleven. At 1:20 a.m., police were called to the 7/Eleven at 4943 East Busch Boulevard, for a physical fight. Police say they found a man unconscious in the parking lot with severe upper body trauma. (Tampa Patch)
3. Frontier Airlines has launched new daily nonstop flight from Tampa International Airport to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The discount airline has rapidly expanded its base in the Tampa Bay region over the last few years. (That's So Tampa)
4.The Hillsborough County School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to extend Superintendent Addison Davis' contract until June 2027. Superintendent Davis began leading Hillsborough County Public Schools in March 2020 and has managed the school district throughout the pandemic. (Tampa Patch)
5. The Tampa Downtown Partnership has announced new leadership to mark the organization’s 36th anniversary. The partnership named Abbey Ahern as its new board chair, the first millennial to hold the position, according to a news release from the organization. (Florida Politics)

- A disturbance in the Atlantic could become a tropical depression sometime in the next five days. The National Hurricane Center said the wave has continued to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the eastern tropical Atlantic. (WFLA)
- Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputy, Ryan Mullen, was arrested and charged for domestic battery in Largo on Friday. Police say he grabbed the victim by the hair and hit her multiple times in the head and face. (ABC Action News)
- More than 300,000 people are expected to attend St. Pete Pride today after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The parade comes amid a battle between politicians in Florida and the LGTBQ community. It kicks off at 4 p.m. today. (WTSP)
- Of the 85 "large cities" on PeopleForBikes "Best Places to Bike 2022" annual ranking, Tampa clocked in at No. 69. The ranking is based on safe speeds, protected bike lanes, road diets and intersection treatments. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
