Tampa Man Charged with 2nd-Degree Murder In Fatal Shooting: Police
Police said two men who are related got into an argument that escalated when Dontavious Brown pulled out a gun and shot the other man.

TAMPA, FL — A 31-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after Tampa police said he shot and killed a relative on Wednesday.
Dontavious Brown, 31, was taken into custody on unrelated charges following the shooting. Brown also faces charges of felon in possession of a firearm and possession of cannabis.
Tampa police were called to the 3300 block of East 26th Avenue just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, they learned that two men who are related had gotten into an argument that escalated with Brown pulling out a gun and shooting the other man once in his upper body, killing him, police said.
