Tampa Man's Shooting Death Prompts Plea For Help

The Tampa Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left a 42-year-old man dead.

TAMPA, FL — As Tampa Police detectives investigate a Tuesday night homicide, they’re asking anyone with information in the case to come forward.

According to the agency, officers were called to the 4000 block of East Osborne Avenue around 9:24 p.m. June 13 after shots were heard in the area. When officers arrived, they found Eddie John Session suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities say lifesaving measures were taken, but Session died from his injuries.

No further information about the shooting is yet available. Detectives, however, are asking anyone with information related to the case to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPs. Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at www.crimestopperstb.com. Information that leads to an arrest in the case may be worth a reward of up to $3,000.
