Tampa Officer Placed On Administrative Leave After DUI Arrest
The traffic stop and arrest occurred in Pasco County along the Suncoast Parkway at 1:56 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

TAMPA, FL - Tampa police officer Amanda Parker has been placed on administrative leave as a result of her arrest early Sunday on a charge of misdemeanor DUI. The traffic stop and arrest occurred in Pasco County along the Suncoast Parkway at 1:56 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.
The Florida Highway Patrol arrested Parker, who has worked for TPD since March 2011. She has no disciplinary history. The case will be investigated by the TPD Internal Affairs unit. She is on paid administrative leave, which is standard policy.
