Tampa Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Of Man On East Yukon Street

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Tuesday just after 6 p.m. in the 800 block of East Yukon Street.

Officers arrived to find a man in his late 20s dead from a gunshot wound.

The shooter fled the scene. He is described as a Black man in his late 50s or early 60s, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds with graying hair.

He was last seen riding a bicycle east away from the shooting.

Although it's early in the investigation, detectives believe the two men knew one another.
