Tampa Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

TAMPA, FL — For people who don’t want to spend hours or even days cooking and cleaning up from a big turkey dinner, several restaurants in Tampa are open Thanksgiving Day.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

As always, Patch encourages you to call any restaurant on this list in advance to double-check hours on Thanksgiving Day, as many vary by location. Here are the local restaurants that plan to be open:

Seasons 52

Google searches for “mini desserts” peaked during Thanksgiving last year, so it's the perfect time for Seasons 52to offer its signature Mini Indulgences for holiday gatherings.

With everything on the menu under 595 calories, Seasons 52 allows guests the freedom to enjoy dessert to satisfy the craving for something sweet without overindulging. As part of its seasonal menu, the new limited-time offer includes:

• Pumpkin Pie Mini – pumpkin mousse, pumpkin cake, whipped cream, house-made ginger snap cookie

Seasons 52’s Mini Indulgences are available for takeout and cost $4.50 each, or you can get a flight of six for $24 to please family members or guests with different tastebuds, ensuring everyone ends their holiday celebrations with the perfect sweet treat.

Flora Fina

Flor Fina at the Hotel Haya, 1412 E 7th St., Ybor City, is offering a family-style Thanksgiving feast with all the favorites including roasted turkey and oyster stuffing.

Bern's Steak House

Bern's Steak House, 1208 S Howard Ave., Tampa, has updated its menu with fall offerings, one of which is in celebration of stone crab season. Guests can enjoy fresh stone crab claws with Key lime mustard, served cooked, cold.

Other fall offerings include Pumpkin Bread Pudding drizzled with bourbon pecan praline sauce and topped with caramel ice cream and a ginger snap cookie. Pair it with a freshly brewed espresso.

For a change of pace on Thanksgiving, opt for the Chestnut & Brioche Stuffed Quails prepared by Executive Chef Chad Johnson. This quintessential game-bird dish is tender and flavorful. It is perfectly roasted then lightly glazed with the truffle madeira sauce and served with a roll of savoy cabbage that has been stuffed with more braised savoy cabbage.

Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill is offering a new take on traditional Thanksgiving dinner with items such as:

Toasted Pumpkin Ravioli Starter — pumpkin-filled ravioli, breaded, flash-fried, topped with a petite-parsley garlic sauce, feta and lemon zest, served with extra on the side.

Swordfish & Pumpkin Ravioli features wood-grilled swordfish topped with crispy onions, crumbled feta cheese and a hint of brown butter, served with pumpkin ravioli and a seasonal vegetable.

Pumpkin Lava Cake with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg with a cream cheese molten center, served warm and topped with house-made whipped cream.

And try the Pumpkin Expresso Martini with vanilla vodka, Kahlua, cold-brew coffee, a hint of coconut and warm pumpkin spice flavors, topped with a dollop of whipped cream, or the Fresh Apple Martini made with fresh apples infused three days in vodka and ginger liqueur, finished with a touch of honey and cinnamon sprinkler.

This November, 4 Rivers Smokehouse has plenty of specials to feast your eyes on including the Pilgrim Sandwich ($9.99), the essence of Thanksgiving in every bite. This seasonal offering is stacked with smoked turkey, savory stuffing, warm gravy and tart cranberry chutney and will be available until Nov. 25.

Thanksgiving Day options include 4 Rivers' signature slow-smoked Beef Brisket, tender Prime Rib or fresh Smoked Salmon for the family table or any holiday-related event.

Top it off with Snickerdoodle Cookie, Pumpkin Bayou Bar or Oatmeal Cream Pie.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill, 4134 W Boy Scout Blvd #1, Tampa, kicks off its holiday offerings with the Macadamia Nut Turkey. Elevating the Thanksgiving game, this dish is paired with miso mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans, shoyu cream sauce and ginger-yuzu infused cranberry sauce — none of the canned stuff here. The traditional roasted turkey is another fun take on a classic dish, accompanied by the same side line-up as the Macadamia Nut Turkey, along with Kona’s brioche stuffing.

Cheers to friends and family throughout the meal with the Pumpkin Spiced Old-Fashioned, a fall-inspired spin on a classic cocktail. Guests are also invited to round out the meal with Kona’s classic pumpkin pie. Kids' portions are available for dine-in and takeout packages.
