Tampa Stabbing Victims Identified
One man died and four people were injured in a Wednesday morning stabbing in Tampa.

TAMPA, FL — As the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a Wednesday morning stabbing that left one man dead and four people injured, authorities have released the identities of the victims.
According to the sheriff’s office, the stabbing resulted from an ongoing dispute between neighbors along Windsor Way, which is south of Clair-Mel Elementary School. Authorities have not yet shared details about how the stabbing unfolded or who is believed responsible. Deputies have released the names of the victims.
Deputies say Johnny Morris, 23, died from his injuries. Two 17-year-old boys suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident. The other two adults stabbed in the altercation are Steven Tolbert, 20, and Ronnie Ponder, 23. Ponder and Tolbert also suffered non-life-threatening injuries, a Wednesday email from the sheriff's office said.

Authorities first reported the mass stabbing just after 3 a.m. June 14. Deputies say all of those involved appear to have known each other.
No suspects or arrests have been named. Deputies are releasing no further information at this time.
