Tampa Thieves Make Off With $1,000 Worth Of Welding Cable

Tampa police detectives are seeking information on the thieves who stole nine spools of welding cable.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police detectives are trying to identify two men who stole more than $1,000 worth of welding cable and fled in a U-Haul with the image of a walrus on the side.

The theft occurred in the early morning hours of Oct. 30 at Flexential Tampa - North Data Center, at 8350 Parkedge Drive. The men were seen on video stealing nine spools, each holding 50 feet of the welding cable.

One of the thieves appears to be an older white man with a beard and a pot belly, with tattoos on the outside of both upper arms. The second appears to be a younger white man with a red beard.
