TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting death of a 17-month-old girl.   According to the agency, a call about shots fired came in around 4:12 p.m. from the Clipper Bay Apartments, 6727 S. Lois Ave. When officers arrived on the scene, they learned Amaya Shafi had suffered a single gunshot wound.    The child was taken to a local hospital by her parents, but died from her injuries, a Monday morning email from the agency said.    Police have not released details about the shooting, but say no arrests have been made at this time.
