Taste of South Tampa Helps Support Metropolitan Ministries

TAMPA, FL – For the 12th straight year, fans of the eclectic foods of South Tampa will have a chance to taste their way through many of the regions options.

The 2017 Taste of South Tampa is set to take place Sunday, April 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Tampa Garden Club, 2629 Bayshore Drive. The event, hosted by the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, features unlimited food and beverage samples, live entertainment, access to activities in the Kids Zone, giveaways from sponsors, prizes and voting for the Best of South Tampa Awards.

Although VIP tickets have sold out for the event, pre-sale tickets are still available until midnight on Thursday, March 30. Advance tickets are $35 for chamber members, $50 for general admission, and $35 for military personnel. Prices will go up $5 on the day of the event. Children 10 and younger are free.

A portion of the proceeds from the 2017 Taste of South Tampa will be donated to Metropolitan Ministries. The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a food drive during the event that will also support the regional charitable organization.
