Temporary Lane Closures Set For Harbour Island Boulevard

The lane closures will take place on Harbour Island for wastewater pipe replacement.

TAMPA, FL – Residents of and visitors to Harbour Island will need to adjust their commutes for a portion of this week.

A portion of Harbour Island Boulevard from Knights Run Avenue to Old Water Street will close Wednesday, June 7 as part of the Force Main Replacement Capital Improvement project. The lane closures will be:

  • Starting at 10 p.m. on June 7, the northbound lane on Harbour Island Boulevard from Knights Run Avenue to Old Water Street will close until 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 8.
  • The northbound lane on Harbour Island Boulevard from Knights Run Avenue to Old Water street will close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 9.
  • Harbour Island Boulevard from Knights Run Avenue to Old Water Street will be open to traffic in both directions by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 9, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the west side of Harbour Island Boulevard from Knights Run Avenue to Old Water Street will remain open throughout the construction period.
