1. Tom Brady, who led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl championship and the New England Patriots to six trophies, has reportedly decided to retire from the NFL, according to ESPN. Sources said Brady's decision to retire is based on family and health, and he didn't want to go through a "farewell season." (Tampa Patch)

2. The Florida State Fair returns to Tampa from Thursday, February 10th to Monday, February 21st at the Florida State Fairgrounds near U.S. Highway 301 and MLK Dr. New food items featured this year include a Funnel Cake Taco, Deep Fried Banana Pudding, Loaded Fried Pickle Nachos, Poutine Sundae, and more. 3. St. Pete's Pacific Counter is heading across the bridge to the corner at North Ashley Drive and West Tyler Street in the Modera Apartments building in downtown Tampa. The new location will feature a new ordering system with in-house kiosks and a new digital ordering platform. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

4. More than 30 mom and pop shops in the Skyway Marina Mall in South St. Petersburg are facing an uncertain future. A local developer plans to tear down the mall for luxury apartments, a bank, and a restaurant. Local businesses have been told they have to vacate the premises by February 13th. (ABC Action News)

5. Hillsborough County is seeking input from residents on a new Equity Profile Action Plan. The Request for Proposal says, "It is Hillsborough County's desire to respond, not only to the current social, cultural, economic climate, but also address in a meaningful way the historic disparities within our community.
