The incidents were reported to the Tampa Police Department between Saturday and Tuesday.

Televisions were stolen during a hotel's remodeling project, and an attempted robbery at a church caused property damage, according to reports from the Tampa Police Department.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday and 7:30 a.m. on Friday, five 37-inch flat screen televisions were stolen from five rooms that were being remodeled at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Tampa, police say. The hotel is located at 3805 Cypress Street.

In a separate incident over the weekend, someone used a brick to break the glass out of the front door at Tabernacle of Hope church, 301 Rome Avenue, police say. It appeared that no property was taken, police say.
