Valrico Man Charged With 100 Counts Of Child Porn Possession

VALRICO, FL — A Hillsborough County man is facing 100 counts of possession of child pornography after a search warrant was served at his home Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday the warrant was served by the Internet Predator Unit around 6 a.m. at the man's Falkirk Avenue home in Valrico. Authorities did not detail the nature of the contents found at the man's home.

Authorities identified the man as Dale Uvino, 43, and said he was arrested and charged on suspicion of 100 counts of possession of child pornography 10 or more images and content of images.

"We condemn the vile and despicable actions of this individual," Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a news release. "This behavior is reprehensible and has no place in our community. However, I am profoundly grateful for the dedicated efforts of our Internet Predator Unit detectives, whose tireless work and commitment to justice have played a crucial role in the arrest of this offender."

Hillsborough County Jail records show Uvino remained incarcerated Wednesday.
