Veterans Vaccination Site To Relocate To Yuengling Center
The recently established drive-thru vaccination clinic for veterans will move to a larger site at the Yuengling Center beginning March 30.

TAMPA, FL — The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital & Clinics and the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County will further expand vaccination operations by moving the recently established drive-thru vaccination clinic to a larger site at the Yuengling Center beginning March 30.
The Yuengling Center is located at 12499 USF Bull Run Drive, on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa.
Organized through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Tampa VA and DOH-Hillsborough partnered to vaccinate veterans and their families who are not VA patients as well as those who are patients.

“It makes sense for us to combine our resources and skill sets to vaccinate as many people as quickly as possible,” said David VanMeter, interim director of James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital & Clinics. “Since December 2020 we have vaccinated tens of thousands of veterans and employees. This new location will allow us to offer even more protection to their family members now, too, as well as veterans not in our care.”
Those eligible to receive a vaccination must meet current Florida state eligibility requirements and belong to one of these categories:
