1. A Temple Terrace woman will spend two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to bilking the Small Business Administration out of $500,000 in Payment Protection Program loans. U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell sentenced 52-year-old Bridgitte Keim to prison on Tuesday and ordered her to forfeit $7,500 of proceeds from the crime. (Tampa Patch)

2. A water main break is expected to impact traffic at a main intersection in South Tampa for several days, according to city officials. A spokesperson for the Tampa Water Department says a water main break immediately shut down parts of West Gandy Boulevard and South Himes Avenue on Thursday afternoon. (WFLA)

3. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said it's searching for a suspect in a deadly shooting overnight in Plant City. The shooting at the Twilight Zone Bar killed one person and injured another, authorities said. Authorities say the people involved knew each other and this is an isolated incident. (ABC Action News)

4. On Wednesday, City of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said that she approved Tampa's "City Center at Hanna Avenue" after more than five months of councilmen and local leaders asking who was responsible for the controversial project. The admission continues to saga between the city council and the mayor. The project price tag jumped from $10 million to $108 million without a public bid and had numerous controversies. 5. Vū Studio unveiled its donation of the latest virtual production equipment to the University of Tampa on Thursday. The donation is valued at $750,000 and includes a 30-by-14-foot Vū LED screen and 4K LED processor, plus 120 hours of stage time and training at Vū's flagship Tampa studio for UT students.   • City leaders in St. Petersburg are exploring the idea of guaranteeing a right to legal counsel for local tenants facing eviction, also known as tenants’ right to counsel. If passed, it could make St. Petersburg the first city in Florida to offer this right to tenants. (WMNF)
